Costa Rica was a delightful experience. You have many of the sites and sounds of Hawaii, but at a much lower price and less travel time. This is a perfect vacation paradise for honeymoon couples, empty nesters and adventurous travelers. We spent the weekend at Hermosa beach, which is better than most beaches because it is warm, shallow and has beautiful trees to lounge under when you need shade. We took a boat trip to see an cave that can only be explored at low tide. Truly stunning. Then we traveled to Hacienda Guachipelín. Wonderful accommodations and so many adventures. Hot mud bath, hot springs, horseback riding, white water tubing and zip lining. I have all of these elsewhere on my travels, but these were over the top in quality and beauty and VERY reasonably priced. Our guide treated us like royalty. We didn't have to worry about anything. We later visited La Fortuna to see the Arenal Volcano. The Hanging Bridges provide many beautiful tropical vistas with a moderate hike. Cooltour handled our accommodations, adventures and transportation. They did a great job of making our 10 days a perfect winter escape to paradise.

Jay, of Cool Tours, arranged my wife, brother and sister and I a dream vacation. We visited coffee farms, viewed awesome waterfalls, floated down a jungle river and ate delicious Costa Rican food. We took in the incredible surroundings of the cloud forest, rain forest and the coast. We contemplated diverse flowers, birds, monkeys, lizards, etc. One of the most remarkable days was at the poolside of our beach hotel- the fascinating howler monkeys played, scrambled, slept, somersaulted and otherwise gave us a ringside seat for their performance. It was an amazing adventure.
